These are long overdue. As most of you know, my world was thrown for a loop when I found out I would be teaching 1/2 time 7th grade language arts and 1/2 elementary reading specialist. I was so nervous to teach middle school. I have a zillion things for elementary, but NOTHING for middle school. So, with the help of friends and family, I created my "Cafe Read-A-Lotte" corner. I tried to be chic. :) I also had to make an elementary corner for my reading kids. To my surprise, the 7th graders loved it. Kudos to Kara, who came up with the idea a few years ago. We spent the summer creating her 6th grade classroom. Love ya Kara!
